IFRA’s government relations efforts in conjunction with the Illinois Retail Merchants Association (IRMA) has made us a strong, effective voice in Springfield, and has resulted in both the passage and defeat of many significant bills directly affecting your business.

On Volunteer Day, Association members assist in packing food at the Northern Illinois Food Bank. The Northern Illinois Food Bank provides nutritious food and innovative feeding programs to more than 70,000 people each week. The work of the Food Bank depends on generous donors, volunteers, and community partners: the local food pantries and feeding programs, food manufacturers and retailers, companies, foundations and individuals.
